In addition to manufacturing protective packaging, FP International recycles polystyrene foam (EPS). This is used in the recycling process to make new loosefill packaging minimising the effect on the environment by reducing packaging waste. With five recycling operations in the U.S. and one in the United Kingdom, the company recycled over 500,000 Kilos of EPS in 2006.
